Proposing a new summer event for people to socialize and enjoy popular movies from recent years. Monargo is a movie festival that takes place at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois. It offers a range of attractions that are suitable for people of all ages.
The event is inspired by the one of the worlds most recognizable butterflies, the monarch. Monarch butterflies are well known for their remarkable migratory pattern. This represents the many people who will be traveling or “migrating” to Chicago to attend Monargo.

Designing with Figma
Figma was used to create the layout of the Monargo website. Figma is a vector graphics editor and prototyping tool that allows for the creation of website wireframes and prototyping designs. After Monargo's design was completed in Figma this allowed the process to move forward into coding.
There are two different typefaces that are used for the platforms of Monargo. Coolvetica is mostly used for body text or subheadings. Lemon Milk is an all caps font which is used for the primary logo as well as headings.
